Devilish Date update#2
Making some progress on the opening scene of the Devilish Date episode. Things goes slowly, but at least there is less to be done when I get spare time. I plan on using cellshading on the buildings to have it look more cartoony.

Flame test 2
Some more flame tests, rendered from Maya. Now it finally looks realistic, but having troubled with it rendering too dark. It will work on in the context of it usage, but I think I will try the effect in a proper scene sometime.

Flame tests
Just testing out how to make flames in Autodesk Maya. It's interesting to learn this for future effect usage.
Still learning and didn't get satisfied with the dynamic of the effect.

Two skyscrapers and a ugly apartment building
Sounds like the title for a sitcom. These are some CG modelling of buildings that is going to be used in the making of the Red or Dead commercial. They don't have high details since they will only be used as background. The red apartment building is just something I wanted to experiment on since the theme of the buildings is old soviet style, and I found an image of a weird looking apartment building that I thought would be fun to model in Maya.

Spitfire WIP2
Back from Easter Break. I don't have much time to work on my side projects, but I do spend an hour or two to tweak on them for when I get full time to dedicate. My Spitfire is starting to take shape. The wing was most difficult to get right since the Spitfire has special curves. I am tempted to throw in tons of details, but one of the ideas of this exercise is to keep it low poly in terms of rendering animation.

Layout by a post-production guy
Basicly I had to do some quick layouts before the rush to produce and finish the Red or Dead commercial starts next week, so I did these to help describe to modellers like me and some others how the city overview and streets are going to look like. It's going to be a lot of fun to model these buildings, but the time pressure is starting to sneak in, so I hope we can make all these in time.

Headshots
Some headshots for you. I've been practicing on making my artstyle more cartoony, since that feels more "natural" to my development rather then striving for a ultra-realistic style.
I've been taking inspiration from Batman: The Animated Series, which might show in these drawings.
