Deep - Dark Forest

Some more background painting.

The protagonist walks through a dark forest, so I imagined a gray foggy forest.

I wanted to take another crack on the cottage in the forest, but I couldn't get happy with the result,

so I made three different versions.

Worked some more on backgrounds, and decided to use the storyboard as template.

I was told to look at Snow White's backgrounds and see how they did it, and I noticed they use watercolours for their backgrounds.

I am not awfully familiar with making watercolour effects in photoshop, so I just decided to try around.

Concept art for Deep. 

This is a digital painting of the forest in which the protagonist finds herself in during the Snow White segment.

Decided to take the sketch and try out some colouring and shading techniques. Will most likely fix her up some more. Not happy about her hair.
